Verizon Wireless has plans designed for those who do not use voice minutes to communicate. While the plans do not include an allowance for anytime minutes, Nationwide Messaging plans include unlimited text, picture, video messaging and more.
$34.99 Nationwide Messaging Plan includes:

- Unlimited Text, Picture & Video Messaging to anyone on any network in the U.S.
- $0.25 per minute for voice calls

Mobile Hotspot/Mobile Broadband Connect
- Extend the capability of your device - increase your data package with an additional 2GB of data each month for an additional $20 per month and enable Mobile Hotspot or Mobile Broadband Connect
In order to establish your eligibility for the Blackberry or PDA Smartphone plan, please bring either (i) a letter indicating that you are hearing impaired on appropriate letter head from your audiologist, hearing health professional, speech or language therapist/specialist, physician, surgeon, vocational rehabilitation agency counselor, teacher or credentialed therapist; or (ii) your membership card for the National Association of the Deaf, Hearing Loss of America, AG Bell, Association of Late Deafened Adults, Telecommunications for the Deaf, Inc or other similar group.
