Visus Technology, Inc. has developed VelaSense which is a mobile application suite that uses the Verizon 4G LTE network and smartphones with advanced cameras and sensors to deliver real-time feedback to users about objects and surroundings, including tools for recognizing text, colors, currency and barcodes.

VelaSense combines multiple tools under a single intuitive interface to assist with everyday tasks, eliminating the inconvenience and cost of using specialized stand alone equipment such as magnifiers or readers.

The VelaSense mobile application suite can be found in the Google Play™ Store by searching VelaSense or Visus from any Android smartphone with an operating system of 4.3 or higher.
